Migrations in the Quietude, Part 1

It’s early morning on the 19th of May 2023, and while the dawn has brought some songs, it’s a relatively quiet day… so far.

But as we follow the Crane River to Scuggog Lake, migrant songbirds begin arriving.. continuously, for hours.

In these final episodes of this season of Songbirding, I aim to document the spectacle of this songful migration event.
